Implant Torque Verification System (ITVS) - Digital Mk1
Introducing New ITVS Digital Mk1
The Implant Torque Verification System (ITVS) is designed to prevent implant failure by providing a quick, easy-to-use, and cost-effective system to verify the accurate calibration of dental implant torque wrenches.
Improper torquing of dental implants is a leading cause of implant failure and can result from the dental torque wrench losing calibration with repeated use, being exposed to heat sterilization, and having incorrect factory calibration.
Torque verification has understandably been overlooked by most practitioners: existing solutions require investment in cost-prohibitive equipment for the dental practice or time-consuming verification by third-party labs.
The ITVS Digital changes this: using a digital torque verifier that interfaces with a hex adapter, the ITVS Digital can verify torque for nearly all types of toggle-type and beam-type dental torque wrenches and screwdriver systems. The ITVS’s compact form factor allows for convenient storage at the point of use within the dental practice and enables practitioners to verify the accuracy of their torque wrenches on a regular basis without the expense of third-party testing.
The ITVS Digital includes:
- Digital Torque Verifier
- Latchgrip Connector*
- Square/Hex Connector*
Each torque verifier is calibrated at our manufacturing facility using NIST‑traceable torque standards and tested according to the procedures outlined in ISO 6789 and ASME B107. We verify and document that every unit meets the accuracy requirements specified by these standards.
Engineered and assembled in the USA.
What practitioners are saying about the ITVS Digital Mk1:
"I can highly recommend this device as its use is straightforward and precise... I took your device to the University so we could test all the torque wrenches being used by students to be sure they were accurately recording the desired levels of torque."
